An ensemble of man and nature unfolds against the backdrop of a vast marble quarry in Tuscany, Italy. Enormous parts of nature are divided, broken, and ultimately found by humans and heavy machinery. Most of all, this experimental documentary reveals the elegance and delicacy of ‘Il Capo,’ the conductor of the orchestra composed of nature and machines.

事实证明，只要拍得美，一个包工头指挥推土机15分钟人们也看得下去。人的断指，环境的碎石。一橙一红的掘土机，暴晒下深棕色的皮肤，干净蓝白的雪山是影片和谐的主色调，而高原自然的雾霭与施工带来的粉尘，混合在一起形成了短片独特的画面质感。记得影片末尾给了主角一个手部向上的特写，镜头腾空而起，飞跃在高山峻岭间，最终呼应开头山上出现了十字架。当目光变远，山与人并没有何不同，不过都是在自我陶醉中伤害别人也遍体鳞伤。
